Every Sunday evening, the streets of the Old City turn into a night market. I enjoyed exploring local crafts, artworks, and souvenirs, and I relished street food.

Even the food alone makes it a destination of interest: from barbecued skewers to mango sticky rice.

6. Nimmanhaemin Road (Nimman)

Nimman is the modern creative center of Chiang Mai. It is filled with cafes, fashion boutiques, co-working spaces, and art galleries.

I spent an entire afternoon café-hopping and relaxing there—it is ideal for those who appreciate a blend of modern living and local creativity.

7. Mon Jam & Mae Rim

Situated approximately 25 kilometers from Chiang Mai, Mon Jam is renowned for its cool climate, stunning mountainous landscape, diverse flora, and serene atmosphere. This is the ultimate destination for a half-day trip from the city.
